Akame Ga Kill (First Impressions) [No Spoilers, Will Talk About Episodes Near End and What I Think]

Synopsis
To start off this review ill just give a brief summary of the story to let you understand what i will be talking about in the next couple of paragraphs. If you have already watched the first 4 episodes of the anime you can just skip this paragraph since you know what the story is about! So Akame Ga Kill is a brand new anime that came from a more or less popular manga (like most anime) and it is set in a fantasy world. In this world you have your main character, Tatsumi, who has a mission with three of his friends and they go on a journey to the capitol to make money for their poor village. What Tatsumi soon finds out is that the capitol is full of corruption, the cause for this corruption is the prime minister who is controlling the child emperor. After Tatsumi realizes this, after some crazy stuff happens he joins a group of assassins known as Night Raid.

Characters (Bad Ass Levels = Over 9000)
This is simply one of the best parts of Akame Ga Kill. It is quite hard to explain when you haven't watched the anime but man oh man i can tell you this! Firstly the characters are individually amazing, ill give an example using Akame. (One Of The Assassins) Akame  is a very quiet girl who is simply mysterious, i find myself wanting to watch this anime to see what she is going to do next and how she will react to certain events that will come. The more you watch the show the more you learn about Akame and what you learn may surprise you! Now I am not going to fully give it away because i truly do want you to watch the anime to find out for yourself. For everyone that has watched the anime, you know what i mean ;) The second thing about the characters that i love is that even though they are so different from each other they work together so perfectly it's incredible! Oh ya and one of the characters brings lots of plot into the story...

Animation (Little Bit Disappointed Q_Q)
Now one little thing that i would like to talk about is the animation in this series, man oh man. Now it isn't anything horrendous but i am still a little disappointed due to the fact that this anime is new and it is part of the big Summer 2014 season. Now if you aren't used to watching anime then meh who could care less it looks like anime and it is anime its all good. but compare to some anime that are coming out at the same time as Akame Ga kill, they completely crush it. One example is Sword Art Online II, this anime has always had nice animation since its first installment last year. AND another anime that didn't even come out in the Summer 2014 season is No Game No Life that anime really hit the beauty spot with animation as I pointed out in my last review. Now this isn't anything major but just thought i should bring it up.

Murder... YES MURDER (Perfect)
There are fight scenes, there is murder, i like...

Final Thoughts!
So all in all i know this review did not make the anime seem as good as the No Game No Life anime review but i must say, this anime will be an anime up there in this years Summer season, I have read the manga and i can say that i truly can't wait to see how the anime works it out and truly portrays the story. So I do highly recommend this anime to anyone out there looking for an action packed anime to start off with.

[WARNING SPOILERS BELOW]
So for everyone that has watched the anime I would like to just talk a little bit about each episode and what i think and hope you guys feel the same way.

Episode 1: First off i would like to say, best way to open the anime, just boom there's a beast and a little kid comes along and kills it with some pretty nice gore, i must say bravo sir bravo. The first about 5 minutes  were a little dull after that but 5 minutes is nothing to actually well develop a story line and that was nice that they managed to do that and i like how they also explained the story during all the action scenes this was a really good way to keep me entertained and yet still know what was going on

Episode 2: Now this episode was okay i think they more so used it to put in some more plot development which is completely understandable but once again they put some action in the episode and so comedy as well to keep the viewers entertained. I think the funniest scene was where Akame takes off Tatsumi's clothes at the end to make sure he didn't have any scratches, i don't know why but it made me laugh xD

Episode 3: The 3rd episode i just want to talk about how they made the ending. i personally loved how they ended the episode off with such a suspense scene and that scene just made me so excited to see episode 4. It was just so epic how he just beheaded those 2 guards with one swift attack.

Episode 4: This episode was really nice because all the mysteries of Zank The Executioner were answered and man was that one hell of a fight. Now I want to know the story behind who Akame saw in her vision!

No Game No Life (Full Anime Series Review) [NO SPOILERS]

Little Introduction For You <3
Okay so for all of you non-Anime fanatics out there, this may be the greatest anime to get started on if you enjoy video games. So just to explain the story a bit it is about a brother and sister, Sora and Shiro. In their home they are people who basically play video games all day and together they create the group known as Blank, yes, Blank as in nothing. They are basically the bad asses of all video games! Like seriously, don't try and fight them in a video game, you will lose. Now one day Sora and Shiro get sucked into a fantasy world  which is like 7432677684236743624674832642x better than ours simply because the world is all about playing different types of games. Literally everything is based off games!

Characters (Me Gusta)
Now let me just give you some details on the characters in this anime. Sora and Shiro are simply amazing, i don't know what the anime creators did to make me love them so much but they are just so awesome!! Excuse me while I have an Animegasm.......ghnurjemagbvnjfdsjknbh gnjmk, lfaedhunjgv mraekdjs........ OK i'm good now. So basically the way the creators of this anime portray Sora and Shiro are basically like the smartest people in the world. they can literally come up with a strategy with any game that they play and when there is an unexpected obstacle they know exactly how to conquer it and crush their opponents. its pretty epic. Now another thing that i would like to point put is how they support each others weaknesses, it really is something amazing, they know exactly how each other think and that is how they always win.

Never Lose (Because We Are Too Good For Life)
One thing that you catch on too is that "Blank" will never lose a game no matter what the challenge so about half way through the anime you start to ask yourself "How will they win this time" and that is something that i like very much because it's interesting that when you think there is no possible way for them to do something, they do it! And something you may be thinking is that they do all these impossible things well THEY DON'T. everything they do in this anime is thoroughly explained after the match is over and it really does make sense, sometimes the explaining is a little fast and you may have to re-watch the scene to full comprehend their logic but it really does make sense!
No Game No Life is a Must Watch for Any Gamer
Animation (Orgasmic)
The Last thing that i want to talk about is the animation style. This was actually one of the nicest animation's that i have seen in an anime in a while, this may be personal preference but i really do like all the crazy bright colors that create this amazing gaming world. It is simply amazing that the animators were able to create such colors and still keep such a nice quality to the anime, most of the other anime's that i have watched in the past either are very gloomy with beautiful graphics designs, or they just have a shit ton of random colors everywhere and it just hurts your head after 5 minutes of watching it. No Game No Life was right in between these two factors and that made me happy that the animators of this show found the perfect animation style. (For Me) Just an Example of animation look at all the colors in her face it's truly amazing.

Final Thoughts!
So all in all No Game No Life is the anime for you if you love video games and PURE AWESOMENESS.... sorry if u couldn't tell already i truly love this anime and another thing, if u haven't gotten into anime, try it don't be like those little kids who say they don't like food but have never tried it! (Truly hate that) Just give it a little chance and i promise if you start with the right anime you will love it! Another side note for all you Non-Anime people out there, don't quit after the first episode please, sometimes the shows need some character development or something just take a nice hour or two outof your day and watch a couple of episodes! Ok so thats my review on No Game No Life hope you enjoyed it and if u haven't watched it already go now, literally, here is the link: http://www.crunchyroll.ca/no-game-no-life/videos SEE YA!

So Anime Is A Thing Now (Introduction To New Topic)

Hello you beautiful beautiful people! Since the last time that I frequently posted on this blog there is something new that i truly truly love in my life, and that is Anime. Now if you specifically have never actually gotten into Anime i will tell you right now, your  life must suck pretty bad... I'm just joking your life is probably fantastic but with anime it can me 567434667536565747364786354x better than it was before. Now i know u must be thinking "But how is this possible that my life could be 567434667536565747364786354x better but i never knew about it" and my answer is BECAUSE  YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED ANIME!

Now a brief description of anime brought to you in part by Wikipedia.com where 12 year olds give you information on the world, " "Anime" are Japanese animated productions usually featuring hand-drawn or computer animation. The word is the abbreviated pronunciation of "animation" in Japanese, where this term references all animation.[1] In other languages, the term is defined as animation from Japan or as a Japanese-disseminated animation style often characterized by colorful graphics, vibrant characters and fantastic themes.[2][3] Arguably, the stylization approach to the meaning may open up the possibility of anime produced in countries other than Japan.[4][5][6] For simplicity, many Westerners strictly view anime as an animation product from Japan.[3]" So its basically Japanese Cartoons!

See i know right now i'm going completely fan boy on all you people but just hear me out if u haven't already left the article due to my slight insanity in the paragraph above, yeaaa that can happen sometimes xD. And once I enter fan boy mode again i must give you a disclaimer, if you do not like Subbed shows then you will not like anime, and for anyone unfamiliar with the terms "Subbed" and "Dubbed" then let me explain. Subbed is when the audio of the video is all original from the airing in Japan, so there are people talking in Japanese but you are reading the subtitles at the bottom of the screen. Dubbed anime is basically when it comes out in English countries and all the voice acting is now in English. Now if you are a normal person you are thinking right now "Well Dubbed anime seems like the right choice" NO, NO SIR YOU ARE WRONG, here is why. The biggest reason why you are wrong is that you will basically always be watching 1-Year Old Anime because it takes time to change the animation of the lips in the shows and actually get voice actors to read all the lines of all the episodes in the series etc. you get the point about the timing. Next is the voice actors, yes this is a huge problem. First off there are things in the anime that cannot be translated like names, the English voice actors pronounce them so badly it hurts to hear, like i don't think my ears have been so close to actually bleeding. They don't even match with the characters. This may not seem like such a big problem but it is after you watch about 5 episodes. For a little sample of both types of Anime these are trailers for the anime "Sword Art Online" (One of my favorites)

Dubbed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8Jl_-b7ju0  (Start at 1:00 to hear voices)

Subbed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szoyfP_Wfx8 (Start at 1:10 to hear voices)

After you have watched those you must agree with me that the main character (Kirito) Sounds like he is about 5 years old in the Dubbed version compare to his bad ass voice in the Subbed version. I know that to some new anime viewers subbed can be really annoying just due to the fact that you have to read and can't enjoy the animations as much but you get used to it very quickly!

So i think i have gone far enough in depth on what to do with Subbed/Dubbed Anime, so this list is a list of the anime in which i will be reviewing in the next couple of weeks:

  • Akame Ga Kill (First Impressions, Current Episodes = 3)
  • Sword Art Online (Full Series Review)
  • Sword Art Online II  (First Impressions, Current Episodes = 3)
  • The Irregular At Magic High School (Mid Season Review, Episodes = 16/22)
  • No Game No Life (Full Series Review)
  • Why Not To Watch The Big Three (Informational Blog On Why Not To Waste Your Time Watching Naruto, Bleach or One Piece)
  • Comic Artist And His Assistants (Full Series Review)
  • Black Bullet (Full Series Review)
  • My Mental Choices Are Completely Interfering With My School Romantic Comedy (Full Series Review)

So ya that is what you can expect from me in the coming weeks on the whole Anime Subject and my challenge for you guys is to watch at least 2 of these Anime, 1 of them a full series and one of them can still be in progress. And with the full series experiment with the Dubbed and Subbed and see which one you personally prefer!

Hey guys

Hey guys sorry i have been away for a while i will be posting again and more frequently. now that E3 is coming up there is going to be lots of news and new things to talk about. One thing that i am personally looking forward to is the game reveal of Bungies new game Destiny. I have been watching some videos and i have been getting some information on all the news leeks. It looks like a mix of halo and mass effect which are two of my favourite futuristic shooting games.  "Destiny is an action game from the creators of Halo, set in a mysterious future. Create a unique and powerful character, customize the way you look and fight, and explore what remains of our solar system." says the official website. We know it is a first person shooter which i prefer compared to 3rd person shooters. Another thing that we know is that it takes place far in the future where all of the solid planets and some of their moons have been made the humans home before the invasion. I am Really looking forward to this game.

One topic that many people are talking about is the new consoles from Sony and Microsoft. The newly Announced Xbox One and the console we already knew about, The PS4. I will be writing something based on these topics soon.

In youtube news there really isn't any new news other than Smosh keeping the number one spot in subscribers at an amazing 10,000,000 subs. That is crazy because now that i am getting older i have started realizing how stupid their comedy is. but from time to time they come out with a new video. I will proabably be updating you guys after E3

Gaming

If there is anyone actually reading this blog please comment and tell me what you guys want me to talk about I am open to any suggestions.......

Guys big news you know that game injustice gods among us it is free on all apple products today and I just got it on the iPod and its amazing I just spent like hours on it it's pretty awesome but on another note I wanted to talk about something else today.

I just finished playing Bioshock infinite and it was such an amazing game. I loved the game the graphics were phenomenal and the story was really well done. If I would have to rate the game on ten I would give it a 9.5 it was a really enjoyable game but the thing that sucks is that after I was done the story I don't have any use for it so if this blog starts to get popular I might do some giveaways with all the story based games like AC3 all that stuff.

I HATE HOMEWORK

Ok Is there anything else uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh oh ya I watched a couple vids on Dead Rising 2 and it looks like an awesome game. You can like make items and the game is basically just kill zombies. I really enjoy games like that where it is like just kill these guys in the most creative way possible and that is what gets you the best score. There is another game like that called BulletStorm which looks really Bad Ass because there are really cool guns and ya it looks really good might get it. Ok so that's it for this blog.
